Used-Oil Equipment for workshop, fleet & industry

Used-oil collection trolleys, extraction units, diaphragm pumps, storage tanks and accessories from MATO, Samoa, Tecalemit, Roth Werke and Rietbergwerke – for the safe, efficient collection, extraction and interim storage of used oil and liquids hazardous to water. From €14 to €3,927.

✅ Mobile, electric & air-operated ✅ 20 – 2,400 litre capacity ✅ For workshop & stationary use ✅ MATO · Samoa · Tecalemit · Roth

Mobile collection units

MATO used-oil collection funnels (370/600 mm) and a 75 L collection unit with pressure discharge, Samoa COLLECTOR in three versions (with hydraulic coupling, air discharge or extraction pump) – for mobile used-oil collection during oil changes in the car workshop.

Electric extraction units

Tecalemit electric used-oil extraction units – as a portable version for flexible use (€1,453) or as a stationary unit for permanent workshop operation (€3,927). For professional oil disposal without a compressed-air connection.

Air-operated diaphragm pumps & sets

Samoa Directflo DF50 (50 l/min) and DF250 Alu (100 l/min) for used-oil extraction and transfer. The complete DF100 extraction pump set with wall bracket, delivery hose and suction hose for stationary workshop supply.

Used-oil storage tanks

Roth Multitech (400–1,000 L), PE combi tanks, Rietbergwerke Multitank MT (900–2,400 L) and Schütz VET for the interim storage of used oil under the German Water Resources Act – double-walled, with DIBt storage approval.

The right used-oil unit for every application

🔧

Car workshop – daily oil changes

For the daily oil change in the car workshop: a mobile MATO collection trolley 75 L with pressure discharge or the Samoa COLLECTOR with extraction pump (up to 100 L) – mobile, easy to empty, with funnel and splash guard. Extraction adapters for BMW, VW and Citroën as a complement.

🚛

Trucks & buses

For oil disposal on trucks, buses and commercial vehicles with large oil volumes: the RAS 20 used-oil collection trolley (20 L) as a compact solution for underbody oil changes, or the Samoa COLLECTOR with hydraulic coupling for a fast, clean connection.

Professional workshop – electric

For operations with high used-oil volumes and no compressed-air connection: the Tecalemit portable electric extraction unit (€1,453) for flexible use or the stationary model (€3,927) as a fixed installation. No compressed air needed, continuous operation.

💨

Compressed air available – diaphragm pump

Where a compressed-air connection is available in the workshop: the Samoa Directflo DF50 (50 l/min) for medium volumes or the DF250 Alu (100 l/min) for high throughput. The DF100 extraction pump set comes complete with wall bracket and hoses.

Interim storage & tank

For WHG-compliant interim storage of used oil until disposal: the Roth Multitech 400–1,000 L or Rietbergwerke Multitank MT 900–2,400 L – double-walled, with DIBt storage approval. Extraction fittings for existing Roth and Schütz tanks available as accessories.

🔩

Accessories & retrofitting

MATO extraction adapters for BMW, VW and Citroën allow cleaner extraction of used oil without the drain plug. The FSC-PP-250 oil funnel (Ø 250 mm) with hinged lid and R2" connection. Venting and overfill protection for supply and disposal tanks.

Frequently asked questions about used-oil equipment

For daily oil changes in the workshop, mobile used-oil collection units are the best choice. The MATO 75 L collection unit and the Samoa COLLECTOR are proven models for car oil changes. For higher throughput and clean discharge, an air-operated extraction unit (Samoa DF50/DF100) or an electric extraction unit (Tecalemit) is recommended. As a complement, extraction adapters for specific vehicle makes (BMW, VW, Citroën) are useful, allowing a cleaner oil change without the drain plug.
A used-oil collection unit with pressure discharge is emptied after filling via a compressed-air connection – compressed air pushes the used oil into the storage tank. Simple and fast, but it requires a compressed-air connection. A unit with an extraction pump (e.g. the Samoa COLLECTOR with extraction pump) actively draws off the used oil – no compressed-air connection needed, but more effort. A hydraulic coupling (COLLECTOR) allows a particularly fast, dry connection to the storage tank with no drip loss.
Used oil is a liquid hazardous to water (WGK 2–3) and is subject to the German Water Resources Act (WHG) and the AwSV. Used-oil storage tanks must be double-walled or fitted with a bund, have a DIBt storage approval and fully control the leakage risk. For storage in workshops, the same requirements as for heating oil generally apply. Roth Multitech and Rietbergwerke Multitank MT meet these requirements. For the specific implementation, we recommend coordinating with the responsible lower water authority.
Extraction adapters (MATO for BMW, VW, Citroën) allow the engine oil to be drawn off through the dipstick tube directly from the oil sump – without opening the drain plug. Advantages: no oil runs over hot parts, a clean oil change, no risk of damaged oil-pan seals, suitable for vehicles with a hard-to-reach drain plug. The adapter is fitted onto the suction-probe connection tube (Ø 12 mm) of the used-oil extraction system. It is make-specific, as each manufacturer uses different dipstick diameters.
The tank size depends on the daily used-oil volume and the disposal frequency. As a guide: a car oil change produces around 4–6 L of used oil. With 3–5 oil changes a day and weekly disposal collection, 400–750 L (Roth Multitech) is enough. For larger workshops or fleets with truck oil changes, 1,000–2,400 L (Rietbergwerke Multitank MT) is recommended. All tanks on offer are double-walled and WHG-compliant.
No. Diesel pumps must not be used for used oil. Used oil is a far more viscous substance than diesel and contains impurities, metal abrasion and combustion residues that would damage standard diesel pumps. Used oil requires special used-oil extraction units or air-operated diaphragm pumps designed for high-viscosity, contaminated media – such as the MATO units, the Samoa COLLECTOR and the Tecalemit extraction units in this category.
