Which mobile AdBlue® tank system suits which operation?
Construction site & occasional refuelling
For sporadic use on changing construction sites without a power connection: 440 L transport tank with a 12V pump and crocodile clips (€1,594) – can be connected directly to the vehicle battery, with a 4 m dispensing hose and an automatic nozzle included.
Agriculture & farm
For the seasonal refuelling of tractors and agricultural machinery: Kingspan BlueTruckMaster 200–430 L – stackable, weatherproof, with a selectable 12V/24V/230V pump. A rugged construction for tough farm operation, allow for a 4–6 week delivery time.
Fleet & depot
For the regular refuelling of 5–20 vehicles a day: QUADRO-PLUS-BLUE 450 or 770 (from €6,002) – with a 12/24V pump, a professional dispensing unit and a rugged steel frame. The 900 L variant of the BlueTruckMaster (€2,852) for larger stocks.
With or without a power connection
Many models are available with a 12V or 24V pump for operation on a vehicle battery or a generator. For fixed locations with a 230V connection, the 230V variant with a more continuous pump performance is recommended. The SIMPLY-BLUE (Rietbergwerke) offers all three voltages to choose from.
Diesel & AdBlue® combined
For operations that need to keep diesel and AdBlue® available together on the move: Rietbergwerke Quadro Blue combi tank (from €6,418) in 450, 770 and 1,000 litres – one system for both media, with separate circuits and a selectable 12/24V or 230V pump.
How much volume do I need?
As a guide: modern trucks require around 5–8 % of their diesel consumption in AdBlue® – at 50 L of diesel a day, that corresponds to around 2.5–4 L of AdBlue®. For 10 trucks a day, 200–440 L lasts 5–10 days. For 20–30 vehicles, 770–1,000 L makes sense to reduce the refilling frequency.
