12V & 24V pumps

Directly on the vehicle or tractor battery – ideal for the construction site, agriculture and mobile use. Models from PIUSI Carry, Bypass and Panther up to 85 l/min.

230V stationary pumps

A high flow rate of 35–80 l/min for farm fuel stations and operations. TECALEMIT HORNET, PIUSI Panther and TecPump 600AC as a single pump or complete set.

ATEX & petrol

Explosion-protected pumps for petrol, kerosene and other highly flammable media. PIUSI Panther EX 56 with ATEX certification and an integrated water separator.

With a meter / set

Complete sets with a nozzle, hose and a digital or analogue meter. Ideal for fleets with consumption control – also available with the CUBE MC fuel management system.

Which electric pump suits which application?

🚜

Agriculture & farm

For the farm fuel station, 230V complete sets such as the TECALEMIT HORNET W40A or HORNET 50II are recommended – ready to use straight away with a nozzle, hose and optional meter.

🚛

Fleet & multi-user

PIUSI CUBE 56/33 or the HORNET 50II with the Z400 meter – with consumption recording per vehicle. For larger fleets, the PIUSI CUBE MC fuel management system is recommended.

🏗️

Construction site & mobile

12V/24V pumps such as the PIUSI Carry 3000, Bypass 3000 or BIPUMP run directly off the vehicle battery. Compact, self-priming and suitable for rough outdoor use.

🏭

Industry & high performance

For large quantities and continuous operation: PIUSI E 120 M (100 l/min) or E 120 T 400V – rugged cast-iron vane pumps for demanding industrial applications.

Petrol & ATEX

For petrol, kerosene and other flammable media, use ATEX-certified pumps exclusively – e.g. the PIUSI Panther EX 56 with an explosion-protected motor and water separator.

💧

AdBlue® & special media

AdBlue®, radiator antifreeze and antifreeze require media-resistant pumps made of PP or stainless steel. Jessberger drum pumps or PIUSI AdBlue pumps are the right choice.

Frequently asked questions about electric pumps

12V and 24V pumps are operated directly off the vehicle or tractor battery – ideal for mobile use with no power connection. 230V pumps are designed for stationary tank points with a mains connection and typically offer higher flow rates from 35 l/min. 400V three-phase pumps are suitable for industrial high-performance applications from 100 l/min.
For 1–3 vehicles a day, 35–55 l/min is enough. For larger fleets, 55–80 l/min makes sense. For truck fuel stations and industrial operations, 100 l/min and above is recommended. Rule of thumb: a 50-litre car tank should be filled in under 2 minutes.
Yes – for petrol, kerosene and other highly flammable liquids, only ATEX-certified pumps are approved. Standard diesel pumps must not be used for petrol. The PIUSI Panther EX 56 is a typical ATEX model for petrol up to 56 l/min.
Yes – most electric pumps for diesel are also approved for heating oil EL, as the two media are chemically very similar. Check the manufacturer's approval in the data sheet. Standard diesel pumps are not suitable for petrol, AdBlue® or chemicals.
A meter records the dispensed fuel quantity in litres – handy for cost control and consumption documentation. Analogue meters (e.g. K33) are low-cost and low-maintenance. Digital meters (Z400) additionally offer a reset function and higher reading precision. For several users, a fuel management system with PIN or card access is recommended.
A self-priming pump can draw liquid up from a lower-lying tank without itself being in the medium. Self-priming is mandatory when the pump is mounted higher than the tank contents (typically: on top of the drum). Most electric pumps are self-priming up to a suction height of 3–4 m.
