Hand Crank Pumps · Manual & Robust

Hand Crank Pumps for Fuels & Liquids high flow rate without any power

Robust rotary pumps with hand crank for diesel, heating oil, oils, AdBlue and chemicals – in aluminium, cast iron or plastic. Higher flow rate than syphon pumps, low maintenance and usable anywhere. From MATO, Jessberger and PIUSI.

✅ No power or compressed air needed ✅ Up to 80 l/min flow rate ✅ Diesel · Heating Oil · AdBlue · Chemicals ✅ MATO · Jessberger · PIUSI

Aluminium Crank Pumps

Lightweight, corrosion-resistant and long-lasting. Ideal for diesel, heating oil and AdBlue. Models from MATO (RP100) and Jessberger as the standard solution for workshops and yards.

Diesel Heating oil Lightweight

Cast Iron Crank Pumps

Maximum robustness for intensive continuous use – for diesel, hydraulic oil and fuels. Higher service life under mechanical stress in industrial and commercial applications.

Industry Continuous use Robust

Plastic Crank Pumps

For chemical media such as organic acids, alcohols and cleaning agents. Chemical-resistant materials protect against corrosion – also suitable for AdBlue.

AdBlue Acids Chemicals

With Meter & Accessories

Versions with integrated flow meter (e.g. Digmet M80) for consumption recording. Optional: trolley, hose reel and dispensing nozzle for comfortable operation.

Which hand crank pump suits which application?

Diesel & Heating Oil

The aluminium crank pumps RP100 from MATO or the Jessberger JP-13 are the first choice here – robust, proven and with up to 80 l/min particularly fast when transferring.

🛢️

Engine Oil & Hydraulic Oil

For viscous oils, cast iron crank pumps with higher pressure build-up are recommended. Check the viscosity specification in the data sheet – not every pump handles SAE-90 oils.

💧

AdBlue® / Urea

Only use plastic crank pumps made from PE or with EPDM seals. The SRL 1050 is specifically designed for AdBlue – aluminium housing reacts with urea.

Acids & Chemicals

The SRL 900 in plastic is suitable for organic acids, alcohols and cleaning agents. Pay attention to the seal material: EPDM for aqueous media, Viton for solvents.

🔥

Petrol & ATEX

For flammable fuels, only use the MATO RP100-EX with Viton seals – ATEX-approved, spark-free construction. Standard models are not permitted here.

With Consumption Recording

The MATO RP100 with Digmet M80 meter enables precise quantity recording directly at the pump – ideal for businesses that need to document fuel quantities per vehicle or job.

Frequently Asked Questions about Hand Crank Pumps

Hand crank pumps work on the rotary principle and achieve significantly higher flow rates of up to 80 l/min – syphon pumps only manage 10–15 l/min. Hand crank pumps are also designed for 200-litre drums and large containers, while syphon pumps are only suitable for canisters up to 30 L.
No – aluminium reacts with urea solution (AdBlue) and corrodes. This also contaminates the solution and can damage SCR catalysts. For AdBlue, only use crank pumps made from polypropylene (PP) or with EPDM seals, such as the SRL 1050.
SRL stands for suction tube length – the length of the immersion tube inserted into the drum. For standard 200-litre steel drums (height approx. 870–900 mm), you need an SRL of at least 900–1,050 mm.
For petrol and other light fuels, only the MATO RP100-EX with Viton seals is suitable – ATEX-certified with spark-free construction. All other crank pumps are not permitted for petrol.
Low-viscosity fuels (diesel, heating oil): up to 80 l/min. Viscous oils (SAE 30–90): approx. 20–30 l/min. AdBlue and aqueous media: approx. 40–60 l/min. The exact flow rate always depends on the medium being pumped.
An integrated meter is worthwhile whenever consumption quantities need to be documented – e.g. for vehicle cost accounting, site billing or regulatory requirements. The MATO RP100 with Digmet M80 offers this function directly at the pump.
