Collecting: open the drain plug, the oil runs via a funnel into the used-oil trolley – complete emptying, but the mechanic lies under the vehicle and hot oil flows over hot parts. Extracting: insert the suction probe through the dipstick tube, the vacuum pump extracts the oil – clean, no crawling underneath, no drain plug, but 5–15% residual oil remains in the dead space of the oil pan. Combi units (MATO Combi, Samoa Combo, MasterDrainer II Combi) can do both methods.

The hydraulic coupling is a dry-coupling system for connecting the used-oil trolley to the stationary collection tank. No oil escapes when disconnecting – internal valves close automatically. This enables a fast, clean change between the collection position and emptying without oil drips. Particularly efficient with a high oil-change volume in larger operations.

The standard suction probe has a Ø of 12 mm – this diameter does not fit into all dipstick openings, since different manufacturers use different tube internal diameters. The MATO suction adapter for BMW/VW/Citroën fits the respective brand-specific dipstick diameter, so that the suction probe can be inserted and sealed tightly. The universal suction-probe adapter (16 to 12 mm) allows additional adaptation.

Both have an 80 L collection container, four castors, a level indicator, storage compartments and a 1.8 m hose. Classic (€1,077): only draining via a funnel – for the classic oil change with a drain plug. Combi (€1,128): additionally with a suction function and suction probes – can also extract through the dipstick tube. For operations with a mixed vehicle fleet, the Combi variant is more economical.

Vacumaster VM-W (€2,118, wall-mounted): fixed to the wall – space-saving, a stable position, no risk of tipping over, ideal for fixed workstations with a solid wall. Vacumaster VM-S (€2,294, stand): free-standing on a stand – flexibly positionable, no wall connection needed, for workshops without a suitable wall position or for semi-mobile placement. Both work with 5 bar compressed air and 100 l/min air consumption, with a 3 m suction hose for cars, trucks and buses.

The used-oil centre AZ DPM (Samoa-Hallbauer) is a central used-oil collection station with an air-operated diaphragm pump, a safety spill pallet and an oil-level sensor. It collects used oil from several disposal devices (collection trolleys, suction units) centrally. With a 1000 L storage tank and overfill protection (€7,903), it is the complete infrastructure solution for large workshops, fleet operations and industrial operations with a high daily volume of used oil and requirements for WHG-compliant interim storage until collection by the disposal contractor.
