✅ 0.15 m³ to 5 m³ capacity ✅ Load capacity up to 4000 kg (heavy-duty SK) ✅ Standard · automatic · 3-sided · stackable ✅ Galvanised or painted

Standard & stacking tippers

Most tipping containers are tipped forward to one side and picked up via the fork tines. Stacking tippers of the BSK series can be stacked empty on top of each other and thus save considerable storage space. Mini tipping containers MGU are particularly flat and have a low pouring edge, ideal when the container is to be filled by hand. The EXPO, GU, NK, BK and other series cover all common volume ranges from 0.15 to 2 m³.

Automatic & 3-sided tipping containers

Automatic tipping containers (4A series) tip on their own when they are set down on the ground – the contents empty automatically without any further action. 3-sided tipping containers (3S series) can be tipped to three sides, which makes positioning during emptying considerably more flexible. Both special forms are suitable for automated processes or cramped discharge positions.

Heavy-duty tipper SK – up to 4000 kg

The heavy-duty tippers of the SK series are designed for particularly heavy bulk materials – with a load capacity of up to 4000 kg, they are double to quadruple that of standard containers. Robustly constructed for ore, metal chips, stones and other heavy goods. Volume ranges 0.3 to 2.1 m³.

Large-volume tipping containers & special forms

Large-volume containers of the BKC series hold 2 to 5 m³ and are designed for the bulk removal of bulk material, construction rubble and industrial waste. The TRIO container offers three separate chambers (0.6 m³ each) in one container for simultaneous waste separation. The mesh-box turner RGW tips mesh boxes with the forklift.

Finding the right tipping container for your application

📦

Which volume do I need?

Rule of thumb: the volume depends on the quantity to be removed per trip. 0.3–0.6 m³: for smaller quantities, handy, for compact forklifts. 0.75–1.2 m³: the most-used range, fits standard forklifts. 1.5–2 m³: for high throughput. 2–5 m³ (BKC series): for large quantities and heavy-duty forklifts. Always check: forklift load capacity ≥ container own weight + fill weight.

⚖️

Which load capacity is needed?

Standard tipping containers carry 500–1500 kg. BKM series: up to 3000 kg. BKC large-volume: up to 2500 kg. Heavy-duty SK: up to 4000 kg – for metal chips, ore, stones. The load capacity must exceed the actual fill weight of the container. Added to this is the own weight – together this gives the forklift load. Heavy bulk material (steel, sand, gravel) weighs 1400–7800 kg per m³, which is far above the container load capacity: fill only partially!

🔄

How does the container empty?

Manually (standard): the forklift tips the tines and the container empties forward. Automatically (4A): when set down on the ground, the container tips on its own. No additional action needed – ideal for assembly-line processes. 3-sided (3S): emptying to three directions selectable – flexible with cramped discharge points.

📐

Stackable – when space is tight

Stacking tipper BSK: empty containers can be triple-stacked – three BSK on top of each other need only the floor space of one container. Ideal for operations with many containers and limited storage space. All other tipping-container series are generally not stackable. Anyone with many containers in use should consider the BSK series.

🗂️

TRIO – waste separation in one container

The TRIO tipping container has three separate chambers (0.6 m³ each) in one container frame – one trip with the forklift, three fractions transported at the same time. Ideal for operations with legally required waste separation (paper, plastic, residual waste). Total load capacity 1500 kg, total weight 305 kg.

🛡️

Galvanised or painted?

Galvanised: lasting corrosion protection – recommended for damp bulk materials (sand, construction rubble, wet waste), outdoor use and permanent use. Extra weight about 5–15 kg. Painted: cheaper, sufficient for dry goods and covered use. For frequently changing, aggressive media and the outdoor area, always choose galvanised.

Frequently asked questions about tipping containers for forklifts

The range comprises more than a dozen series with different focuses: BSK (stackable, space-saving), MGU (very flat, low pouring edge for manual filling), EXPO (compact standard form), GU/NK/BK (classic all-rounders in various sizes), BKM (high load capacity up to 3000 kg), SK (heavy-duty up to 4000 kg), 4A (automatic tipping when set down), 3S (tips to three sides), BKC (large-volume 2–5 m³), TRIO (3 chambers for waste separation). The right choice depends on volume, load capacity, tipping function and area of use.
An automatic tipping container (4A series) tips on its own as soon as it is set down on the ground – the container base gives way and the contents flow out without the driver having to intervene. Afterwards the forklift lifts the container again and it closes automatically. The principle is suitable for fully automated material flows where fast, driverless emptying is required. The 4A series is available in 0.6, 0.9 and 1.2 m³.
A 3-sided tipping container can be emptied to the left, right and forward – not just in one fixed direction like standard containers. This gives the forklift driver maximum flexibility in positioning: they can turn the container so that the material falls exactly into the target container, the skip or the opening – even when access is only possible from one side. The 3S series is available in 0.3 and 0.6 m³.
This depends on the load capacity of the container and the bulk density of the material. Examples: sand ~1600 kg/m³, gravel ~1400 kg/m³, metal chips ~1500–7800 kg/m³, construction rubble ~1200–1500 kg/m³, wood chips ~150–300 kg/m³. A standard container with 1 m³ and 1000 kg load capacity may therefore be filled only to about 62% with sand. Never exceed the load capacity – the forklift must additionally carry the container's own weight. For heavy goods, choose the heavy-duty SK series (4000 kg).
A stacking tipper (BSK series) is a tipping container that is triple-stackable when empty – three containers on top of each other need only the floor space of a single container. This considerably reduces the space required for the empty containers. Particularly useful for operations that have many containers in circulation and only limited storage space – typical in industry, waste management and production. The BSK series covers 0.3 to 2 m³.
The mesh-box turner RGW is an attachment for the forklift that picks up mesh boxes (Euro mesh boxes) and turns them by 180° – to pour the contents onto a conveyor belt, into a container or a machine. This turns the forklift into a mesh-box emptying system and replaces manual emptying or separate tipping stations. Typical in industry, logistics and production, where mesh boxes are used as load carriers for bulk materials, small parts or waste.
