The MATO battery-powered grease guns run on the Bosch Professional 18V AMPShare system โ existing Bosch batteries (18V) can be used directly. Basic-S-LSP (โฌ442.50, without battery) and ACCU-GREASER Premium in two versions (โฌ489โ549.50, with case) for 400 g pull-off, Lube-Shuttleยฎ and 500 g cartridges.
Pressol 20V & Samoa AFP-S 400 20V
Pressol battery-powered grease gun 20V (โฌ389) with 150 g/min, 400 bar operating pressure (680 bar max.) for 400 g cartridge, DIN 1284 or loose grease. Samoa AFP-S 400 20V (โฌ569) with 500 bar operating pressure, a 1000 mm high-pressure hose and a high-capacity 4000 mAh battery.

Which cartridge format do I need?
400 g pull-off (DIN 1284): the standard format, the cheapest grease. Lube-Shuttleยฎ: air-free, no grease loss when changing, ideal for sensitive lubrication points. 500 g screw cartridge: slightly more grease per filling. Loose grease: for operations with grease in containers โ cheaper per kg, but more effort to fill.
Which battery capacity to choose?
1500โ2000 mAh: for occasional lubrication tasks (approx. 1โ2 cartridges). 4000 mAh: for intensive use and multi-shift operation. In winter and with very stiff grease, the range drops. For critical lubrication jobs, always keep a spare battery at hand.
Operating pressure โ what to look for?
All models work with 400โ500 bar โ sufficient for almost all grease nipples (SAE standard: 70โ240 bar). The Samoa AFP-S 400 (500 bar) and Pressol 20V (400 bar operation, 680 bar max.) are particularly suitable for stuck or clogged nipples.
Battery vs. pneumatic grease gun
Battery-powered grease guns work independently of compressed air โ ideal for mobile use, outdoors, on the construction site or at machines without a compressor connection. Pneumatic grease guns are cheaper to purchase but tied to the compressor. For outdoor use and mobility: battery is the clear advantage.
4-jaw coupler โ what for?
The 4-jaw hydraulic gripping coupler grips automatically at the grease nipple and holds tight โ even with angled or hard-to-reach nipples. Both hands free: lubricate with one hand, the other hand free. Particularly valuable at nipples overhead or in tight installation positions.
