Roth industrial storage base
The Roth industrial storage base is the starting element of a modular rainwater system – it has a DN 100 inlet with inlet calming, an overflow siphon with an integrated small-animal barrier and two lower flange connections. Extension tanks or a floating extraction can be connected to the flange connections.
Roth industrial storage extension tank
Extension tanks are connected to the base tank via Roth connecting lines and increase the total capacity modularly – a 2000 L base plus two 2000 L extension tanks gives 6000 litres total volume. The extension tanks have no inlet of their own, as the water flows through from the base tank.
AquaBank® 15,000 L – large storage
The AquaBank® 15,000 L tank is an upright cylindrical tank made of black polyethylene for agriculture and industry. The black colour prevents algae growth by excluding light. Equipment: 24" inspection hatch, 2" or 3" ball valve, four lifting eyes, ventilation and smart monitoring. 5-year warranty on the tank.

Roth industrial storage or AquaBank®?
Roth industrial storage: modular, flat-rectangular (880 mm wide), space-saving, ideal for underground or semi-recessed placement and rainwater use in commercial operations. Scalable from 2000 up to several thousand litres via extension tanks. AquaBank® 15,000 L: upright large tank for above-ground placement, Ø 2950 mm – for agriculture, irrigation, firefighting water and industrial buffer storage.
Modular system – base + extension
The Roth industrial storage system has a modular design: a base tank (with inlet, overflow siphon, flange connections) forms the system centre. Extension tanks are connected to it via a 2-inch Roth connecting line. The water equalises between the tanks. Possible combinations: 2000+2000=4000 L, 3000+3000=6000 L, 2000+3000=5000 L. Expandable at will.
Why is the AquaBank® black?
Algae need light to grow. Transparent or light-coloured tanks let light through – an algae bloom is the result, especially in summer. The black AquaBank® tank made of PE blocks light completely and prevents algae growth permanently – without chemicals. At the same time, the dark surface absorbs heat, which can be advantageous when used as a warm-water buffer in agriculture.
Inlet calming – what is behind it?
When rainwater flows unfiltered into the tank at high speed, it stirs up sediment and turbid matter – the water becomes cloudy and the quality drops. The inlet calming (integrated in the base tank) slows and distributes the incoming water gently, so that suspended matter can settle and clean water is extracted.
Inspection opening – why important?
The inspection opening (oval 500×400 mm on the industrial storage, 24" on the AquaBank®) enables access to the tank interior for: cleaning and maintenance, installation of pumps and float valves, inspection and camera surveys. A sufficiently large opening is a prerequisite for easy long-term maintenance of the tank. With openings that are too small, many maintenance tasks are impossible.
Smart monitoring on the AquaBank®
The AquaBank® 15,000 L supports smart monitoring for fill-level monitoring – the tank contents can be monitored digitally without visiting the site. Particularly valuable for decentralised locations such as fields, outdoor storage and remote operating sites where the fill level would have to be checked regularly.
