AdBlue® nozzles manual, automatic & for trucks / cars

Manual and automatic dispensing valves for urea solution AUS 32 from PIUSI, HORN and Elaflex – for the drip-free, clean refuelling of cars, vans and trucks. As a simple manual valve, an automatic nozzle with shut-off or a high-performance valve for large truck tanks. With or without a digital meter.

✅ Manual · automatic · truck version ✅ Up to 80 l/min flow rate ✅ AdBlue®-resistant plastic & stainless steel ✅ PIUSI · HORN · Elaflex

Manual – simple & low-cost

PIUSI manual dispensing valve (€79.94, 80 l/min) and HORN plastic dispensing valve (€119.50) with a swivel joint – for the simple dispensing of AdBlue® from drums and IBC containers without an automatic shut-off. For operations that dose manually and control the quantity themselves.

Automatic – with shut-off

The HORN A2003-KS (€215) and PIUSI SB325 (€282) shut off automatically when the tank is full – preventing overfilling and AdBlue® splash-back. All made of AdBlue®-resistant plastic (PP/PVDF), with a swivel joint for comfortable refuelling.

Stainless steel & with a meter

The A60 INOX automatic dispensing valve (€364) made of stainless steel with a swivel joint for a particularly corrosion-resistant version. The PIUSI SB325M + meter (€436) with an integrated digital meter for a direct quantity display without a separate flow meter – practical for internal operational consumption recording.

Truck & car-specific

The Elaflex ZVA HV 4M.0 F (€660) for truck refuelling – 40 l/min, a 1" stainless-steel connection, for large SCR tanks. The Elaflex ZVA LV 4AF.0 F (€670) specifically for cars – max. 10 l/min, preventing the overfilling of small SCR tanks. Both for professional stationary dispensing points.

Which AdBlue® nozzle suits which application?

🔧

Simple dispensing – manual

For occasional filling from drums or IBC containers without high requirements: PIUSI manual dispensing valve (€79.94) or HORN plastic dispensing valve (€119.50) – low-cost, easy to operate, closed manually. No automatic shut-off, so full attention is required during the filling process.

🚗

Cars & vans – automatic

For refuelling cars and vans with small SCR tanks (5–25 L): HORN A2003-KS (€215) or PIUSI SB325 (€282) – automatic shut-off prevents overfilling, a swivel joint allows comfortable insertion into the narrow filler opening. An outlet diameter of 19 mm suits all common SCR filler necks.

🚛

Trucks & large SCR tanks

For refuelling trucks, construction machinery and other vehicles with large SCR tanks: Elaflex ZVA HV 4M.0 F (€660) – a 1" connection, 40 l/min, stainless steel. For cars, specifically the Elaflex ZVA LV 4AF.0 F (€670) with a max. 10 l/min limit – preventing splash-back into small tanks.

🔢

With an integrated meter

PIUSI SB325M + meter (€436) combines an automatic nozzle with a digital quantity meter – for simple consumption recording without a separate flow meter. Practical when there is only one dispensing point and a complete meter system is not needed.

🔩

Stainless steel for continuous operation

For high-frequency operation at stationary AdBlue® dispensers: A60 INOX automatic (€364) and HORN A2003-ES-M (€522.50) made of stainless steel – more rugged than plastic valves, designed for daily multi-use with a high throughput and a long service life.

Replacement & retrofit

For replacing a defective nozzle on existing systems: pay attention to the connection size (3/4" or 1") and the make. The HORN A2003-KS and A2003-ES are the standard valves on TECALEMIT HORNET systems. The PIUSI SB325 fits the PIUSI Suzzarablue and DELPHIN systems. Frequently asked questions about AdBlue® nozzles

A manual dispensing valve stays open as long as the lever is pressed – the user has to watch the fill level themselves and close it. An automatic dispensing valve (automatic nozzle) closes by itself when the tank is full – a vacuum sensor detects that the outlet pipe is covered by liquid and stops the dispensing. Automatic valves reliably prevent the overfilling and splash-back of AdBlue® – especially important with small car SCR tanks.
AdBlue® corrodes many metals – especially copper, zinc, brass and aluminium. Standard diesel nozzles often contain these materials and are not suitable for AdBlue®. AdBlue® dispensing valves are made of AdBlue®-resistant materials: polypropylene (PP), PVDF or stainless steel. In addition, the outlet pipe must comply with the AdBlue® standard dimensions. On no account use a diesel nozzle for AdBlue® – the material contamination would permanently damage the vehicle's SCR system.
The flow rate of the dispensing valve must match the pump – a dispensing valve does not automatically slow the pump down. For cars and vans (5–25 L SCR tank), the dispensing output should be limited to a max. of 10–20 l/min in order to prevent splash-back. The Elaflex LV 4AF.0 F is specifically designed for a max. of 10 l/min for cars. For trucks (40–100 L), 40 l/min can be used, as with the HV 4M.0 F. The PIUSI SB325 and HORN A2003-KS are designed for the mid-range of 20–45 l/min.
A swivel joint between the hose and the nozzle allows free rotation through 360° – the hose does not twist when the nozzle is held at various angles. This considerably eases the filling of vehicles with hard-to-reach AdBlue® filler necks, since the nozzle and hose can be brought into the optimal position without twisting. Most models from the HORN A2003-KS upwards have a swivel joint as standard.
These designations are the manufacturers' model codes: A2003-KS (HORN/Tecalemit): an automatic dispensing valve of the 2003 series, KS = plastic (Kunststoff), the standard valve for AdBlue® systems, a 19 mm outlet diameter. A2003-ES: the same base, ES = stainless steel (Edelstahl). SB325 (PIUSI): an automatic AdBlue® dispensing valve of the Suzzarablue line, a 3/4" connection. ZVA (Elaflex): automatic dispensing valves, HV = Heavy Vehicle (truck), LV = Light Vehicle (car). Note the compatibility with your existing pump systems when purchasing.
AdBlue® crystallises as it dries out and can block valve mechanisms. After each use: briefly rinse the outlet pipe with clear water and dab it dry. During longer standstills (over 2 weeks), separate the dispensing valve from the hose, flush it thoroughly with water and store it dry. Soften crystal deposits in the outlet pipe carefully with warm water – never use tools, as the outlet pipe of the automatic shut-off can be damaged. In frost, do not force a frozen dispensing valve.
