What's behind the 6 water-tank categories?
Rainwater tanks
From simple garden barrels (50 L, from €95) through Roth garden tanks (750–3,000 L) and house tanks (for toilet & washing machine) to the Roth Twinbloc® flat tank (1,500–10,000 L, underground, car-driveable, DN 600 shaft). Several tanks can be coupled with KG pipe DN 100. Notification to the water utility required under § 13 TrinkwV for domestic use.
Drinking-water tanks
Food-grade certified tanks for safe drinking-water storage – Roth building tanks (750–2,000 L, KTW guideline + DVGW W270, narrow for the cellar) and AquaBank® drinking-water tanks (200–15,000 L, UV-resistant, NIZP-PZH certificate, 5-year warranty). For emergency reserves, construction sites and trade. The BBK recommends 2 L per person per day for 10 days as a minimum supply.
Industrial water tank
Modular Roth industrial tanks (base + extension, 2,000–3,000 L) for commercial rainwater use – expandable, flat-rectangular, DN 100 inlet, overflow siphon. AquaBank® 15,000 L: upright large tank, black (no algae growth), smart monitoring, 2"/3" ball valve, for agriculture, firefighting water and industrial buffer storage.
Wastewater tanks
Underground plastic collection pits and sewage tanks from Roth (900–5,000 L) for locations without a sewer connection – Monobloc (one-piece), Twinbloc (two-piece, fits through narrow accesses) and PLUS design. Including dome shaft DN 200/300/600. Subject to approval under § 55 WHG. Regular emptying by vacuum tanker is mandatory.
Retention tank
Roth retention tanks (RT 3,500–10,000 L) hold rainwater back and release it into the sewer with a time delay through a floating restrictor (1", 0.07–0.5 l/s) – for compliance with development-plan requirements for restricted discharge. 50% or 100% retention volume, with filter basket and DN 600 shaft. Calculation to DIN 1986-100.
Accessories for water tanks
Complete Roth accessory programme: downpipe filters in plastic/metal (0.315–0.55 mm), ECO filter upgrade pack (up to 200 m² of roof), Twinbloc® floating extraction (the clearest water from the middle of the tank), submersible pump (5.7 m³/h, 20 m), smart control with app (€625), smart drinking-water top-up (€520) and a 1,300 L soakaway tunnel pack for overflow infiltration.
