Construction-material containers for forklifts 1 mยณ ยท 1500 kg load capacity ยท stackable โ for gravel, sand, rubble & more
Robust steel containers for the transport and storage of bulk material, gravel, sand, cement, construction rubble and other building materials by forklift. All three models hold 1 mยณ and carry 1500 kg โ triple-stackable for space-saving storage. Available with a smooth steel base (BBG), a lightweight design (BBP) or a folding chute wall for easy loading (BBK). Galvanised or painted.
BBG 100 โ smooth steel
The BBG 100 is made of smooth sheet steel and is particularly suitable for fine bulk material such as sand, gravel or soil, which is easy to remove again. The smooth inner surface prevents material from sticking to the walls. Triple-stackable, 4500 kg stacking load.
BBP 100 โ lightweight design
At 90 kg own weight, the BBP 100 is the lightest model in the range and therefore particularly economical in forklift-weight management. Stackable and available in a painted or galvanised version โ ideal when the container's own weight plays a role.
BBK 100 โ folding chute wall
The BBK 100 has a folding chute wall that makes loading considerably easier โ wheelbarrows or machines can bring material in directly from the side without having to lift it over the edge. Particularly practical with coarse construction rubble, demolition material and stones.
Areas of use
Construction-material containers are used in construction companies, industry, trades and agriculture โ wherever bulk material has to be transported and stored temporarily with the forklift. Being triple-stackable, they save valuable space on cramped construction sites and in warehouses.
Choosing the right construction-material container for your application
Which material is being transported?
For fine bulk material (sand, gravel, soil): the BBG 100 with a smooth steel inner surface โ material slides out easily. For coarse demolition material, stones and construction rubble: the BBK 100 with a folding chute wall โ loading by wheelbarrow without lifting over the edge. For general use at a favourable own weight: the BBP 100.
Mind the forklift load capacity
All three containers weigh 90โ118 kg empty and carry a 1500 kg payload. When fully loaded, the forklift thus reaches a load of about 1600โ1620 kg โ plus the load distance. The forklift must be designed for this total weight. With three empty containers stacked, the stacking load is 4500 kg โ the forklift must also be able to bear this.
Emptying โ how does the material come out?
The BBG and BBP containers are emptied by tilting the forklift โ the forklift raises the tines on one side and the material flows over the edge. The BBK 100 can alternatively be emptied via the folding chute wall if no tilting forklift is available. For controlled emptying at an exact position: the BBK is more flexible.
Triple-stackable โ a space advantage
All models are triple-stackable: three empty containers on top of each other need as much floor space as one. This saves considerable storage space on the construction site and in the warehouse. The stackability requires a stacking load of 4500 kg โ the forklift must be designed accordingly for the stacking process.
Galvanised or painted?
Galvanised: lasting corrosion protection, also suitable for outdoor use and damp building materials โ ideal for permanent use. Slightly heavier than painted (about 7 kg extra weight). Painted: cheaper, sufficient for covered storage and dry building materials. For construction rubble and wet materials, the galvanised variant is recommended.
Typical areas of use
Construction-material containers are used for: bulk-material transport on construction sites (sand, gravel, grit, soil), the disposal of construction rubble and demolition material, the temporary storage of building materials, material transport in precast and concrete works, and in agriculture for grain, wood chips and compost.
