Häufige Fragen zu AdBlue®-Pumpen

AdBlue® (Harnstofflösung AUS 32) ist eine aggressive, wässrige Flüssigkeit, die viele Metalle korrodiert – insbesondere Kupfer, Zink und Messing. Standard-Dieselpumpen oder Ölpumpen sind daher nicht geeignet. AdBlue®-Pumpen sind aus korrosionsbeständigen Materialien wie Edelstahl, Polypropylen (PP) oder PVDF gefertigt. Auch alle Schläuche, Dichtungen und Zapfpistolen müssen AdBlue®-beständig sein.
Eine Membranpumpe (z.B. PREMAxx Set, MATO SB) sitzt außerhalb des Behälters und saugt das AdBlue® an – selbstansaugend, bis ca. 3 m Saughöhe. Eine Tauchpumpe (z.B. PIUSI SQUALO35) wird direkt in den IBC-Container getaucht und drückt das Medium nach oben – keine Saugprobleme, kompakte Bauform, wartungsarm. Tauchpumpen sind besonders für IBC-Container geeignet, da kein externer Saugschlauch nötig ist.
Viele AdBlue®-Pumpen sind auch für Wasser, Frostschutzmittel und Kühlerfrostschutz freigegeben. Für Diesel oder Öl dürfen AdBlue®-Pumpen nicht verwendet werden – das Medium würde die Pumpe kontaminieren und unbrauchbar machen. Eine einmal mit AdBlue® betriebene Pumpe niemals für Kraftstoffe einsetzen, da Harnstoffkristalle Schäden an Einspritzsystemen verursachen können.
AdBlue® kristallisiert beim Eintrocknen und kann Pumpen, Schläuche und Zapfpistolen beschädigen. Nach jedem Einsatz die Pumpe mit klarem Wasser durchspülen und entleeren. Schläuche und Zapfpistolen trocken und staubgeschützt lagern. Bei Temperaturen unter −11 °C friert AdBlue® ein – Pumpe und Leitungen in diesem Fall vollständig entleeren oder frostgeschützt aufbewahren.
SEC (Standard Euro Coupling) und CDS (Common Dry System) sind standardisierte Kupplungssysteme für AdBlue®-Anschlüsse an IBC-Containern und Fässern. Sie ermöglichen ein trockenes, tropffreies Anschließen ohne Verschütten – wichtig, da AdBlue® Oberflächen und Fahrzeugteile beschädigen kann. Viele HORNET- und Samoa-Pumpensysteme nutzen SEC- bzw. CDS-Kupplungen für sichere, schnelle Anschlüsse.
Für gelegentliche Einzelbetankungen reicht eine Handpumpe oder Kurbelpumpe (manuell). Für 1–5 LKW täglich sind 19–35 l/min ausreichend (z.B. PIUSI Suzzarablue, MATO SB). Für Fuhrparks mit häufiger Betankung empfehlen sich 48–57 l/min (HORNET W85H INOX, Flux Juniorflux). Als Orientierung: Ein 40-Liter-Tank ist bei 50 l/min in unter einer Minute befüllt.
