Fresh Oil Tank System with VISCOMAT GEAR 200 without Hose Reel, 1,000 l Oil Tank with PIUSI VISCOMAT 200/2

A fresh oil tank system is a complete system for the storage and metered dispensing of lubricating oil, gear oil or hydraulic oil – consisting of a storage tank (here: 1000-liter IBC), an oil pump and a meter. It is suitable for automotive workshops with regular oil change requirements, agricultural machinery businesses, commercial vehicle fleets as well as industrial businesses with their own oil requirements. Compared to filling from individual drums, a central system saves time, reduces contamination and enables accurate consumption recording.

The PIUSI Viscomat Gear 200 is a self-priming gear pump with a 230V single-phase motor and delivers up to 16 liters per minute at viscosities up to 1,000 cSt. It is suitable for engine oils, gear oils, hydraulic oils and other non-aggressive lubricating oils – not suitable for fuels such as diesel or petrol. Thanks to the robust gear principle, the pump also works reliably with thick oils and is designed for continuous operation in the workshop.

The basic version TLB-F0030403DOS is supplied without a hose reel – ideal if the dispensing hose is permanently installed or an existing reel is used. The version with hose reel includes a spring-driven reel for convenient winding and unwinding of the hose without manual coiling – recommended for workshops with frequent changes of position. Both versions are identical in pump, tank and meter.

Lubricating oils belong to water hazard class WGK 1 (slightly hazardous to water). For a stationary 1000-liter tank (WGK 1, hazard level A), the basic requirements of the AwSV (German Ordinance on Facilities Handling Substances Hazardous to Water) apply: The tank must be operated on a liquid-tight surface or with a spill pallet, and regular visual inspections must be carried out. Compared to diesel (WGK 2), the requirements are lower, but not negligible. As a WHG-certified specialist company under Section 62 AwSV (TÜV Süd), we advise you on standard-compliant installation.

The fresh oil tank system is designed exclusively for fresh oil (new lubricating oil) – not for waste oil. Waste oil is a waste material and is subject to its own legal requirements (German Used Oil Ordinance, Altölverordnung); for waste oil disposal you need a separate waste oil extraction unit. Hydraulic oils can be pumped in the system provided their viscosity is below 1,000 cSt and they are chemically compatible with the pump materials (steel, NBR seals).
