What's behind the 7 accessory categories?

🔍

Filters

Fuel and oil filters for installation in dispensing lines, farm fuel stations and oil dispensing systems – they protect engines and pumps from contaminants in the fuel. Suction- and pressure-side filters for diesel, petrol and oil. Filter inserts in various finenesses (25–150 µm). Filter housings with and without a water separator. Regular filter changes protect injectors and considerably extend engine life.

📈

Level measurement instruments

Mechanical and electronic level measurement instruments for tanks of all kinds – dip-tube gauge sticks, float valves, magnetic indicators and networked level sensors for diesel, heating-oil and rainwater tanks. Monitoring the tank level prevents the pump running dry, overfilling and unnoticed leaks. Also available as smart monitoring with app connection.

🧹

Hoses

Dispensing, suction and pressure hoses for fuel, oil and AdBlue® – in various lengths, diameters (DN 19, DN 25, DN 32) and pressure ratings. Fuel hoses to EN 1360, oil-resistant suction hoses, flexible dispensing hoses for nozzles. Cut-to-length by the metre and ready-made hoses with fittings. Suitable for farm fuel stations, hose reels and mobile systems.

💻

Fuel data collection

Systems for the electronic recording of fuel transactions – who filled up, when and how much? Chip-key systems, magnetic-card readers and software-based fuel data collection for fleets and operations. Mandatory documentation in many operations and a prerequisite for the tax deductibility of business fuel. Integration into fleet-management software is possible.

Nozzles / dispensing valves

Manual and automatic nozzles for diesel, petrol, heating oil and AdBlue® – for farm fuel stations, mobile dispensing systems and workshop technology. Automatic nozzles with venturi cut-off (tank full = automatic stop). The Elaflex ZVA series as the industry standard. Separate AdBlue® nozzles in stainless steel (ISO 22241). Various flow rates (10–140 l/min) depending on the application.

📈

Meters

Mechanical and digital flow meters for fuel and oil – they measure the dispensed quantity precisely and document consumption. For diesel, petrol, heating oil and oil in various measuring accuracies. Meters with a pulse output for connection to fuel-data-collection systems. For commercial dispensing, a calibrated meter is mandatory. Importable and exportable pulse signals for external systems.

🔩

Miscellaneous accessories

Installation material for every occasion: hose clamps (16–25 mm), ADR dangerous-goods labels (class 3, UN 1202), 2" male-thread closure caps for all common tank manufacturers (SCHÜTZ, CEMO, ROTH), sockets and double nipples in brass and PVC-U, drum taps 3/4" and 2", threaded hose tails and fittings. Everything needed for the assembly, servicing and marking of tank systems – compact and low-cost.

Frequently asked questions about accessories for tank & storage systems

The fuel filter in a farm fuel station or dispensing system should be changed at least once a year – more often with more heavily contaminated fuel (an older tank, frequent condensation). Signs of a clogged filter: a falling pump delivery rate, faltering dispensing or an irregular dispensing rate. A clogged filter no longer protects the pump from contaminants and can lead to expensive pump damage. When changing, always check the correct filter fineness (µm) and the right installation location (suction or pressure side).
Fuel hoses (diesel, petrol, heating oil) must be made of fuel-resistant rubber or TPE with an NBR inner lining and approved to EN 1360 – standard colour black. AdBlue® hoses must be made of AdBlue®-resistant material (HDPE, EPDM), as AdBlue® attacks copper and brass – standard colour blue. Never use a fuel hose for AdBlue® or vice versa – this leads to material corrosion and can damage the vehicle's SCR catalytic converter.
Yes – if fuel is dispensed commercially for payment (e.g. fleet billing, customer fuel station), a meter subject to calibration under the German Measurement and Calibration Act (MessEG) is mandatory. The calibration must be renewed every 2 years by an approved calibration company. For internal own consumption without onward charging (your own vehicles in your own operation), there is no calibration requirement – a non-calibrated meter is sufficient for internal documentation. If in doubt, ask the responsible calibration office.
ADR dangerous-goods labels mark tanks, containers and vehicles that transport or store dangerous goods. Important for tank systems: class 3 (flame) for flammable liquids (petrol, diesel, heating oil), UN 1202 specifically for diesel fuel (gas oil), environmentally hazardous substances (fish/tree symbol) for water-polluting liquids. These labels are mandatory for all stationary storage tanks from 450 litres and for vehicle tanks during transport. The format and minimum size are governed by ADR and the GGVSEB.
Fuel data collection (FDC) automatically records every refuelling operation – driver ID (by chip, card or PIN), vehicle, quantity and time stamp. It makes sense from around 5–10 vehicles or several users of one fuel station: it prevents fuel theft, enables accurate cost accounting per vehicle/department and provides analyses for the fleet manager. In combination with the Kingspan BlueMaster PRO TitanAccess system or as a standalone solution. Data can be exported to common fleet-management software.
This depends on the tank type and requirements: mechanical gauge stick/dip tube: the cheapest solution, manual reading – for simple tanks with no need for remote monitoring. Float-disc indicator: mechanical, readable from outside the tank without opening it. Electronic sensor with cable display: display on the device or on a remote display panel. Smart monitoring with app: the level can be called up at any time by smartphone – ideal for decentralised locations, outdoor tanks and operations that can't check the level manually every day. For heating-oil house tanks, a mechanical indicator is usually sufficient; for farm fuel stations, an electronic system is recommended.
