The Rietbergwerke KC-S is a double-walled, explosion-pressure-shock-resistant mobile diesel tank of steel hot-dip galvanised inside and out with a capacity of 500 or 1,000 l and a lockable small double-door cabinet 85971, available without pump, with TP 3 hand pump or with an R50 vane pump for 12 V, 12/24 V or 230 V. According to the manufacturer, the R50 12 pump delivers 50 l/min nominal (30 l/min effective), the R50 12/24 35 or 70 l/min nominal (30 or 50 l/min effective) and the R50 230 56 l/min nominal (52 l/min effective), each with a 6 m hose assembly; the TP 3 hand pump delivers 0.35 l per stroke via a 4 m hose assembly. All tanks hold an unlimited UN approval as an IBC (ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG); the general building authority approval Z-38.12-298 as a storage tank applies to the 1,000 l version only. They may be installed without an additional drip tray outdoors and indoors as well as in water protection and earthquake zones. The KC-S is equipped with vent and suction lines with shut-off ball valve, a continuous mechanical level gauge, a lockable filler neck, a nozzle holder in the cabinet and one central lifting eye according to DGUV Information 209-013.

Der KC-S ist die Version mit Schwenktürkasten – alle Pumpenkomponenten, Schlauch und Zapfpistole sind hinter verschließbaren Flügeltüren geschützt untergebracht. Der KC-K hat einen offenen Staukasten. Beide sind doppelwandig aus feuerverzinktem Stahl, mit identischen Zulassungen und Vakuum-Lecküberwachung. Der KC-S ist die robustere Wahl für dauerhaften Außeneinsatz und mehrere Standorte.
Benötige ich einen Gefahrgutfahrerschein für den Transport?
Nein. Dank der unbefristeten IBC-Transportzulassung darf Diesel bis 1.000 Liter ohne Gefahrgutfahrerschein und ohne spezielle Fahrzeugkennzeichnung transportiert werden – das gilt für Straße (ADR), Schiene (RID) sowie Binnen- und Seeschifffahrt (ADN, IMDG-Code).
Ist der KC-S auch in Wasserschutzgebieten zugelassen?
Ja. Die doppelwandige Konstruktion mit permanenter Vakuum-Lecküberwachung und die bauaufsichtliche Zulassung als Lagerbehälter erlauben die Aufstellung auch in Wasserschutzgebieten – sowohl im Freien als auch in Gebäuden, ohne zusätzliche Auffangwanne.
Wie oft muss der KC-S geprüft werden?
Bei dauerhaft aktivem Leckanzeiger ist lediglich alle 10 Jahre eine Inneninspektion erforderlich. Das ist deutlich seltener als bei Anlagen ohne permanente Lecküberwachung und hält den Wartungsaufwand minimal.
Ist der KC-S auch für HVO und E-Fuels geeignet?
Ja. Der KC-S ist zukunftssicher ausgelegt und für den Einsatz mit HVO 100 (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil, EN 15940) und E-Fuels freigegeben – ideal für Betriebe, die auf klimafreundlichere Kraftstoffe umstellen möchten.
Gibt es den KC-S auch als 500-Liter-Variante?
