The Rietbergwerke KC-S 500 base tank (part no. 81778) is the double-walled, explosion-pressure-shock-resistant diesel tank of the KC-S mobile tank system, made of steel hot-dip galvanised inside and out, with a capacity of 500 l, without double-door cabinet and without pump. According to the manufacturer, the KC-S 500 standard version consists of this base tank and the small double-door cabinet 85971; the footprint is 1300 × 770 mm. The tank holds an unlimited UN approval as an IBC (D/BAM/0489/31A) for transport by road (ADR), rail (RID), inland waterway (ADN) and sea (IMDG Code).
