The Rietbergwerke KC-K 500 is a double-walled, explosion-pressure-shock-resistant 500 l mobile diesel tank of hot-dip galvanised steel with a liquid-tight welded, lockable storage box, offered here as a complete package with a 12/24 V or 230 V pump. According to the manufacturer the 12/24 V pump delivers 35 or 70 l/min nominal (30 or 50 l/min effective) and the 230 V pump 56 l/min nominal (52 l/min effective); both packages include a power cable, a 6 m hose assembly with angled swivel joint, an automatic nozzle and the PZ300 meter. The container measures 1300 × 770 × 1400 mm (L × W × H). It holds an unlimited UN approval as an IBC (D/BAM/0489/31A) for road, rail, inland waterways and sea, withstands even an internal explosion according to the manufacturer and may be installed outdoors and indoors without an additional drip tray. Two lifting eyes are provided for crane lifting according to DGUV Information 209-013; the storage space remains accessible when the container is lashed down, and the continuous mechanical level gauge shows the contents at all times.

Notes

Nominal flow rate = manufacturer's rating at free outflow; effective = measured in testing at 1 m suction height with a 4 m delivery hose and automatic nozzle. The PZ300 meter is not approved for trade use. According to the manufacturer, only the 1000 l version holds a general building authority approval as a storage tank. Install, operate and transport the unit in accordance with the applicable regulations (including AwSV and ADR) and the manufacturer's instructions.
