🔧

Engine Oil & Fuels

The MATO KHP 200 and KHP 202 are ideal for 20–30 litre plastic canisters with engine oil or diesel. Simple operation, no spillage, for workshops and yards.

⚙️

Gear Oil & High Viscosity

For viscous oils (SAE 90, hypoid oils) use the gear oil pump SRL 500 – standard canister pumps are not suitable for high-viscosity oils and may seize up.

🏭

Stationary Use

The Samoa MZA-02/50 stationary is permanently mounted on the canister and enables continuous, safe dispensing without retooling – ideal for workshops with high daily demand.

Chemicals & Solvents

For thinners, cleaning agents and aggressive media, only use the KLP-C25 lift pump – chemical-resistant seals, safe operation without fumes.

Canister Shape Matters

Round canisters: MATO KHP 200/202. Rectangular canisters: MATO KHP 202G. Metal canisters: Samoa MZG. The right choice prevents leaky connections and spillage.

🔄

Mobile or Stationary?

Mobile (MZA-02/20): flexible from canister to canister. Stationary (MZA-02/50): permanently mounted – saves time for regular use in the same location.

Frequently Asked Questions about Canister Pumps

Most canister pumps in our range are designed for 20 to 30 litre plastic canisters. The MATO KHP range fits standard round and rectangular canisters. Samoa multipurpose pumps are also available for metal canisters. For 200-litre drums you need a drum pump – not a canister pump.
KHP 200 is the base version for standard round canisters. KHP 202 has an adapted connection for 20–25 litre plastic canisters. KHP 202G is specifically designed for rectangular canisters with a square opening – the connector fits the square canister opening.
Not every canister pump – gear oils are highly viscous and can seize or damage standard hand pumps. For gear oils up to SAE 90, the gear oil pump SRL 500 is specifically designed. It achieves approx. 6 l/min and is built for viscous oils.
The KLP-C25 is specifically designed for chemical media such as thinners, solvents, cleaning agents and organic acids. It is made from chemical-resistant materials and reliably prevents spillage and fume development. It is not required for fuels or oils.
MZA is the version for plastic canisters, MZG for metal canisters – the connection fitting differs. Both are available in mobile (02/20) and stationary (02/50) versions.
Only if the pump is explicitly approved for AdBlue – which is not the case for most standard canister pumps. Urea solution attacks NBR seals and contaminates the solution. For AdBlue from canisters we recommend special AdBlue hand pumps with PE or EPDM seals.
