The SYSTEM Horn 1500 l farm fuel station is a complete system assembled by TLB for storing and dispensing diesel and heating oil: a double-walled Roth Multitech tank with 1500 litres and the TECALEMIT TecPump 600 AC System electric pump with delivery hose and A 2010 automatic nozzle. There are 8 versions to choose from: with Z 400 analogue meter or FMT 3 digital flow meter, each with a 4 m delivery hose to TECALEMIT standard or a continuous 6, 8 or 10 m hose assembled by TLB. According to Roth, the Multitech consists of a seamless blow-moulded PE-HD inner container and a steel outer container galvanised on both sides with 100 % collection volume, so no additional drip tray is required; a leak probe and level indicator are fitted as standard. The farm refuelling station is designed for installation under a roof. The 1500 l tank measures 1640 × 800 × 1910 mm (L × W × H), weighs approx. 162 kg empty and is approved as a storage and transport container (general building authority approval Z-40.21-283, transport approval D/BAM 6404/31HA1); the pump unit must be removed for transport. The TECALEMIT TecPump 600 AC System is a self-priming 230 V rotary vane pump delivering approx. 55 l/min at 370 W and IP 54; anti-siphon protection and a suction-side filter are integrated, the pump sits on a wall-mounting bracket and connects via a 2 m cable with Schuko plug.

Notes
As a storage tank, the Roth Multitech must be installed as a single container inside buildings according to Roth (wall clearance at least 50 mm on three sides and at least 400 mm on one long side); outdoors, installation is only permitted temporarily with the Roth Schutzhaube MT protective cover. According to Roth, filling with a self-closing nozzle in free outflow is permitted up to a filling volume of 1,250 l and max. 200 l/min. Z 400: 20–120 l/min, ± 3 %, not legal-for-trade; FMT 3: 5–120 l/min, ± 1 % after calibration, TECALEMIT does not state legal-for-trade approval. The weight refers to the empty tank without pump and accessories; the flow rate of approx. 55 l/min is a guide value from TECALEMIT. What is the difference between the Horn SYSTEM 1000L and the 1500L farm fuel station?
Both are identical-construction farm fuel stations based on the double-walled Roth Multitank container with Horn/Tecalemit pump equipment and an analogue or digital meter. The difference lies solely in the capacity: the 1000L version is suitable for businesses with an annual consumption of up to approx. 20,000 litres. The 1500L version offers 50 % more capacity and is ideal for larger businesses or for less frequent refilling. For businesses with more than 2–3 vehicles and daily refuelling needs, we recommend the 1500L variant.
What is the difference between the analogue (Z400) and digital (FMT) meter?
The analogue meter Z400 displays the flow mechanically – robust, low-maintenance and without a power supply. It is suitable for businesses with simple internal consumption control without electronic evaluation. The digital meter FMT records the quantity electronically, offers higher reading precision and, in some versions, allows connection to external systems. For businesses with several users, cost centres or a need for electronic data export, we recommend the digital FMT meter.
Is the Horn SYSTEM farm fuel station 1500L also suitable for biodiesel (RME)?
Yes – the Roth Multitank container of the Horn SYSTEM farm fuel station is explicitly approved for biodiesel RME (rapeseed methyl ester, B100). This is an important feature, as not all tanks are RME-compatible: RME attacks certain seal and container materials. For agricultural businesses that produce or use their own rapeseed oil diesel, the Horn SYSTEM farm fuel station is thus one of the few complete systems with explicit RME approval. When switching from diesel to RME, we recommend a complete tank cleaning before the first filling.
May the Horn SYSTEM farm fuel station 1500L be operated in water protection areas?
Yes – the double-walled Roth Multitank container with leak detection system is generally suitable for operation in the wider protection zone (Zone III) of water protection areas. In the narrower protection zone (Zone II), a general storage ban applies for substances hazardous to water. Whether your specific site allows an exception is determined by the responsible lower water authority (untere Wasserbehörde). Which permits do I need for the Horn SYSTEM farm fuel station 1500L?
For a double-walled farm fuel station with 1500 litres of diesel (WGK 2, hazard level C), notification to the lower water authority (untere Wasserbehörde) and an initial inspection by a recognised expert organisation before commissioning are mandatory (Section 40 AwSV).
