The BAUER drop-bottom container BKB 1000 is a conical container with bottom emptying that nests one inside another when empty. The sturdy construction has a surrounding edge profile. The bottom flap is released by pull rope from the forklift driver's seat, opens through 90° and closes automatically when the container is set down; a safeguard prevents slipping and unintentional opening. Two pairs of fork brackets – bottom transverse (inner size 180 × 94 mm) and top longitudinal (inner size 180 × 65 mm), each with 600 mm inner spacing – allow pick-up by forklift truck from two sides with a minimum fork length of 1100 mm; crane pick-up points are also provided, and thanks to 100 mm ground clearance the container can also be moved with a pallet truck. The container holds 1.00 m³, measures 1040 × 1200 × 1270 mm (L × W × H) and has a load capacity of 2000 kg; castors can be retrofitted. Available painted in RAL 2000 yellow orange, RAL 3000 flame red, RAL 5012 light blue, RAL 6011 reseda green or RAL 7005 mouse grey, or hot-dip galvanised. It is delivered assembled.
